8 Things I am grateful for this week
1. I get to spend quality time with my dad on walks that explain lots of things and are very enlightening and soothing to hear and process. (aka: I need to be more intentional about what comes out of my mouth).
2. That I get to exercise on an indoor bike everyday and eat healthy food provided by my loving parents, who want the best for me.
3. That I am finally taking the chance to get my drivers liscense and have almost all sufficiently prepared for it.
4. I got to see my little sister B graduate 8th grade. I hope the absolute best for her, and hope she goes far in life.
5. My sis E and I got to go to frozen yogurt together and talk about her upcoming college adventure, as she will be a college freshman next year
6. That I have the comfiest bed in the world!
7. I am beginning to understand the challenges of being a parent because of my parents and what they go through to raise us kids, so I’m getting interesting perspective and have been thinking about how to one day be a good parent— but also a good person— someone who can control her temper when things get stressful.
8. Lastly, I am grateful for the constant re-realizations that I love my family so much and that my little sisters are growing up so fast while I am away at college, and that I miss some of that, but also I am grateful for my own life and experiences and somewhat natural cheeriness and adorer of Mother Nature’s beauty.
